P. Cahill has had troubles at Oenpelli - 'The Royal Commission that was held at Darwin was a farce' - Some evidence was perjury from start to finish. The Judge (Ewing) seemed to side with the lawbreakers. Difficulties over P. Cahill's evidence. Attacks in court on Dr. Gilruth, whom P. Cahill defended - 'The lies that these skunks spun about him, was fearful'. Efforts to remove P. Cahill from Oenpelli because he stood by Dr. Gilruth during the riot in December 1918.
