"In Kunwinjku country we have plenty of gapu (fresh water), plenty of rivers, waterholes and springs. This river was made by the Rainbow Serpent, Ngalyod long time ago. We show our children how to drink proper way so they don't disturb good water. We laugh when we see Balanda (white people) scooping up water with their dirty hands!" - Billy Nalakandi
