We were bringing the young initiates into the ceremony ground to watch the dancing. Today we are bringing my nephew Jazmin to be initiated here at Yathalamarra. We cover Jazmin's head as we bring him into the ceremony ground for his circumcision. We make this ceremony for him to make him a man. This is our traditional way." - John Costa, 1996
