This manuscript flora includes Solander's descriptions of the plants collected in New Zealand. Solander copied his original descriptions (see Nos. 3a and 3b) onto slips and rearranged them systematically. These were then copied by an amanuensis to produce this flora. Marshall (1978) considers that the handwriting is that of Sigismund Bacstrom who was employed by Banks, after the voyage from 1772-1775.
The last seven pages are a more recent index in another hand.
