3 copies. Map with grid lines shows geologic eras differentiated by colour. Legend lists eras and constituent rock types. Petroleum, gold, villages, government stations and territorial boundaries shown. Some natural features indicated (mountains, rivers, spot heights, sea depth). Item 7 has pencilled annotation on verso suggestive of a signature. Item 8 has the name 'FIONA' written in ink on verso, and is possibly in best condition of the three.On sheet 102 x 60 cm.
Immediate source of acquisition:
Donated to the National Library of Australia by Professor Fiona Stanley, Evan R. Stanley's granddaughter, in 2002, along with manuscript and pictures materials.
