Content Summary:

Diaries for 1922, 1930-1931, 1934-1935, 1943-1944, 1950-1954, 1959-1960 and 1962-1965. The 1922 diary is quite detailed and contains entries while on tour with the Pavlova Company in North America, Japan, China, the Philippines, Hong Kong and Singapore. Later diaries are appointment diaries and contain only brief entries.

Immediate source of acquisition:
The Algeranoff Papers were donated to the Library by Algeranoff's son, Noel Essex, in 1969 and 1971.
