- The Australian Children's Theatre was a non-profit travelling theatre established by Joan and Betty Rayner in around 1950. In 1955-1956, Algeranoff, Claudie and New Zealand dancer Ronald Reay toured New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, the Northern Territory and the Australian Capital Territory under the aegis of the Australian Children's Theatre. They performed 'Stories in dance', containing excerpts from classical repertoire such as 'Coppelia' and 'Cinderella' and traditional Japanese dances.
- Immediate source of acquisition:
- The Algeranoff Papers were donated to the Library by Algeranoff's son, Noel Essex, in 1969 and 1971.
