The Australian Ballet was formed in 1962 with Peggy van Praagh as artistic director. Algeranoff performed 'Coppelia' with the Ballet in 1962-1963.
The series includes correspondence (mainly with Louis van Eyssen), performance schedules and rehearsal details, 1962-1963 and other papers on the Ballet collected after Algeranoff's association with them including cuttings, programs 1962-1965 and papers relating to the Australian Ballet School.
Comprises two folders.
- Immediate source of acquisition:
- The Algeranoff Papers were donated to the Library by Algeranoff's son, Noel Essex, in 1969 and 1971.
