This series includes Nora Heysen's diaries; identity papers; travel documents; and correspondence relating to her divorce; and her receipt of awards and prizes. A small amount of material relates to Dr Robert Black.
Also included in this series are a copy of Hans Heysen's will; an extract from a birth certificate for Nora Heysen and correspondence relating to preparation of entries on Nora Heysen's professional work in biographical directories.

- Nora Heysen bequeathed the collection to the Library as part of the Heysen Trust in a single instalment in 2004, with the assistance of Lou Klepac, Nora Heysen's executor.
