- There is a small number of papers concerning the inaugural meetings of the Council, at which Ivy Brookes presided in 1919. The constitution is included together with correspondence with L.E. Goodisson, and the Australian Industries Protection League, with which the Council was affiliated.
- Immediate source of acquisition:
- The papers of Herbert Brookes were presented to the National Library in April 1967 by his widow Ivy Deakin Brookes. In October 1967 she deposited her own extensive collection, and together they form the Brookes Papers.
