26 photographs, some being reproductions rather than original. Subjects include a portrait of Hudson Fysh; Sikorsky amphibian Davis and Duryea; DH Dragonfly used by Qantas for aerial ambulance work; exhibition of the plane used by Ross Smith, c.1925; Delfosse Badgery's ANZANI; RMA 'Adelaide' VH-UUA Qantas; RMA 'Sydney' DH86; RMA 'Melbourne' DH 86A Qantas; 'Scotty' Allan W B Purton; and DH 86 'Laila' Holyman Airways; Air force machines at Darwin, 1932.

Also includes two photographs of Charles Kingsford Smith, on as a boy of about four years, with cover note from his sister Winifred Sealby; and an informal standing photograph of Kingsford Smith as an adult.

Some are annotated with philatelic album numbers, and appear to have originally been intended to be put into albums in Series 2. Some photographs are marked as having been copied for the Pictures collection.
