Most or all photographs appear to have been commercially produced, but were probably compiled by the original owner. Many photographs are of ships, including HMS Victoria, HMS Sultan (wrecked in the Comino Channel), and some are of tourist scenes in places including Pompeii, Paris and Malta. No photographs appear to be Australian.
