Crome was a long term member of Rotary, mostly in the Newtown branch, and the Tweed Heads branch when the Cromes lived in Queensland.
The series comprises newsletters and addresses Crome gave to various Rotary club branches, as well as some Lions clubs. The series has been arranged chronologically, except for a box of bound manuscripts, mostly speeches by Crome, which have been placed last in the series arrangement.
Most papers were originally loose.
