Content Summary:

Crome was involved with a variety of historical and collecting societies relating to aviation. His deepest involvement was with the Air Mail Society of NSW, for which he was secretary 1932-c.1940. The series includes two minute books for the Society.

The series also includes newsletters, correspondence, ephemera, photographs and cuttings relating to various societies. The Federation Aeronautique International, held in Sydney in 1974 is well documented.

The series has been arranged alphabetically by the name of the society. A folder compiled by Crome with correspondence and newsletters from various societies has been placed last in the series.
