Papers include: typescript of piece by Street entitled 'Domicile of married women', pamphlet issued by the Australian Federation of Women Voters entitled 'The nationality of married women' together with booklets on the same issue published in London. There is also a brief report from the Inter American Commission of Women entitled 'Inaugural session of Women's Consultative Committee on Nationality', 1931.
Immediate source of acquisition:
Jessie Street's husband, Sir Kenneth Street, donated the papers to the National Library in 1970. Her son, Sir Laurence Street, made a substantial addition in 1972. Further small additions were made to the collection between 1973 and 2001.
