The series comprises 12 boxes of loose cuttings and 78 bound volumes of newspaper cuttings dating from January 1935 to May 1978.
Many cuttings are from overseas newspapers. Some include accounts of speeches by Paul Hasluck, Arthur Calwell and others. There are extracts from English papers when Menzies had his first stroke in London in 1968.
Some other items include: A volume of clippings on Menzies' death, obituaries and funeral; copy of New York Tribune with an article on Menzies, 30 Nov. 1958; copy of The Australian Liberal, July 1976 with an article on Menzies; the Bulletin 20 April 1974 with a cover story on Menzies; Farrago, 7 April 1967 with a cover story on Menzies.
