- Press cuttings, notes and correspondence (1941, 1957-60) relating to the history of English language newspapers and journals in Japan. Notes and typescript drafts of articles by Williams on newspapers in Japan are included in Folder 49. There is a name index to the newspapers and journals.
- Immediate source of acquisition:
- Harold and Gertrude (Jean) Williams between 1978 and 1995 donated the collection to the Library in numerous instalments. Further material was added in 2002 and 2005.
