This series contains typescripts and press cuttings kept by Williams as a record of his articles and letters published in journals. Copies of many of them are included in the subject files in Series 1 and 2.

Williams compiled the eleven scrapbooks of his writings. They contain press cuttings of his letters and articles with associated letters, arranged in chronological order.

Scrapbooks that contain material by Williams and other authors and were arranged primarily with regard to subject matter have been relocated to Series 2, the subject series.

Immediate source of acquisition:
Harold and Gertrude (Jean) Williams between 1978 and 1995 donated the collection to the Library in numerous instalments. Further material was added in 2002 and 2005.
