This series contains typescripts, notes, research material (including copies and extracts of Sir David Rivett's correspondence and typescripts of interviews with Sir David's friends and colleagues), cuttings and correspondence relating to Rivett's research for the biography of his father.

The correspondents include Sir Mark Oliphant, Dame Elisabeth Murdoch and Clyde Cameron.

Immediate source of acquisition:
The collection was presented to the National Library by Mrs Nancy Rivett in 1989. Further papers were donated in 1998.
