Rivett was the Director of IPI, Zurich in 1962-63. The series contains correspondence, minutes of meetings, reports, addresses, press releases, cuttings, a photograph album , papers relating to the history of IPI and its constitution.

The main correspondents include T.C. Bray, Mochtar Lubis, Per Monsen, Allan Hernelius and Donald Tyerman.

Immediate source of acquisition:
The collection was presented to the National Library by Mrs Nancy Rivett in 1989. Further papers were donated in 1998.
