The Hagen-Sepik Patrol returns to Mt Hagen, 19 June 1939. The sequence shows the patrol coming down the strip (in 1998 Hagen CBD beside the Highlands Highway), and being greeted by P.O. George Greathead, OIC Hagen (l. to r. Black, Taylor, Walsh). The distant views are from near Greathead's house, in 1998 the water tower hill (each 1939 + 1997 print; 498 three 1939 + 1997 print; 501 two 1939 + 1997 print, one 1939 with Black's 1987 caption). 503 shows Walsh; 504 shows Taylor.
