Rachel took a particular interest in P NG cultural matters. From her position, she was able to encourage indigenous people to take pride in their arts and crafts, and to organise matters so that they received monetary compensation for their efforts. This series consists of a number of reports by anthropologists and others, as well as the establishment of the National Museum and Art Gallery of PNG.
