This series comprises letters and papers relating to Penberthy's family. The correspondents are Penberthy's parents; his children David Reid, Richard Kerridge and Tamara Walters; his sister Florence and brother Wesley; his ex-wives Barbara Kerridge, Kira Bousloff and Constance Bramley, and his partner, Isabel Atcheson.
The papers include various versions of Penberthy's curriculum vitae, certificates of achievement, his maternal family tree, the transcript of an interview conducted in 1965 by Hazel de Berg and the draft of an autobiography (being prepared for publication by his son, David Reid). There are also papers relating to Penberthy's divorces from Kira Bousloff and Constance Bramley and papers relating to the career of his brother Wesley Penberthy, an artist.
