In 1975, Penberthy was appointed Principal Lecturer in Music at the Northern Rivers College of Advanced Education, Lismore. He went on to become Head of Music and found the School of the Arts Conservatorium Centre at the College. Penberthy retired from the College in 1982. Contained in this series are a small number of papers accumulated by Penberthy while at the College together with later papers relating to the College.
