Bound in half-green morocco by Rivière. Lacks the numbering note by A.G.S., but contains the autograph stanza by the poet. In this copy the verses are from The Loving Tree, autographed and dated by Shaw Neilson, as in preceding copies.
Inserted is autograph letter from A.G.S. (initialled): "Dear Neilson: The Bookfellow goes again from May 15. Glad of anything you can send. London agent to whom I sent 'Heart of Spring' returns - 'I fear I could not handle'. Too cautious! Now sending to U.S.A. Think better chance there". Dated 3.5.23.
In his Autobiography Neilson records: "...The Superior copies were sent over to Chinkapook to my father's place for signature. I went over there and signed them, and came back to the job at Mittyack".
