Tipped in is autograph letter from Arthur Macquarie to J. Le Gay Brereton, 7th November 1915. Arthur Macquarie writes from London, where he had been doing literary work for many years. It was he, who with Henry Lawson, edited Miles Franklin's My Brilliant Career into shape for the publishers.
Inserted also are some extracts from Brereton's autograph notebook. Other extracts are some short anecdotes attributed to Brennan which Brereton has written down. These are dated in 1904.
