Coloured Portraits of Brennan.
(a) A drawing 10" × 8", depicting Brennan with a background of clouds, standing with a book in his hand. With caption by the artist, "Up in the Clouds", with annotation, "Chris: Brennan in Victoria Street, Darlinghurst, in 1931. As I remember him, Hal Gye, January 1954".
(b) A drawing 8" x 7", with caption by the artist, "A MEMORY, Yarning to children at the back of Tusculum, 1931, Brennan the Patriarch, Hal Gye". The children are playing on a heap of sand, whilst the poet stands talking to them with a book in his hand.
In quarter-leather folder together with typescript of an article by Dora Wilcox, published under the pen-name "Corona": Large Sized Men. The author relates her conversation with Brennan after a chance meeting in Darlinghurst, and draws an effective pen-portrait. It appeared in Southerly, No. 1, 1939.
