- Jim Fraser's vote in the general election of 1969 was a record of 67.75%. This small series consists of congratulatory messages received by Fraser after the election, his "viewpoint" broadcasts of 5 November 1969 and 30 January 1970; his letter to Peter Nixon, Minister for the Interior dated 10 November 1969 requesting additional secretarial assistance and both Prime Minister Gorton and Nixon's replies. Also included in this series are press cuttings relating to the 1969 general election and to events during the early months of 1970.
