Content Summary:
This series contains contracts and letters for concerts, recitals and operas. They can be divided into three main periods: performances in England from 1929 to 1940; preparations for a South African Tour, 1947 Season (the tour never eventuated); and contracts for performances in Australia during World War II, and in England until 1953. Items are arranged chronologically within each period group.

The papers were presented to the National Library of Australia by Arnold Matters in 1983.
