Content Summary:
As a young man, Fleming wrote a lot of poems, some of which were published in the Scotch Collegian and the Melbourne University Magazine. From 1936 to 1938 he made frequent contributions in prose and verse to 'Oriel', a column that appeared in the Argus every Saturday. In later years he wrote articles on the significance of Anzac Day, which appeared in newspapers between 1947 and 1991.
