- Most of the papers in this series relate to Spiro Moraitis' interest in the social and medical phenomenon of workplace injuries amongst migrants, e.g. the condition referred to as 'Mediterranean back'. There are papers concerning the seminar, 'The injured ethnic - a medical and social problem', held in 1977 and presented jointly by AGWS and the Australia New Zealand Society of Occupational Medicine. There is similar material concerning the Inquiry into Workers Compensation, e.g. correspondence between AGWS and the Australian Council of Trade Unions, as well as press cuttings and AGWS financial documents.
