- As a continuation of his migrant, health and welfare interests, Spiro Moraitis corresponded and collected press cuttings, reports and media releases over an extended period from 1971. Margaret Moraitis was a member of the Central Health Interpreter Service (CHIS), which was established following the publication of the Galbally Report on migrant services, to provide interpreting services to governmental and non-governmental health bodies. Margaret Moraitis was a member of the CHIS committee and the Language Services Campaign Committee. Many of the CHIS papers in this series refer to the major restructuring which occurred following the body's incorporation in 1990.
