Correspondence
- Component identifier:
- Series 1
- Content Summary:
-
Series 1 and 2 merge to a degree, since the files often contain family papers as well as letters. The files have been left as H. A. F., created them; for this reason dates and subject matter recur and overlap over several files.
The correspondence files begin with general letters to H. A. F. and progress to family letters, but these two categories also overlap. Cuttings, leaflets and photographs are also with the letters.
Correspondents include Fraser’s parents, brothers and sister, Dorothy Roberts (who later became his wife), Anglican clergy, George and Margaret Gow, Ethel Mitchell, Jim Elder, Norman Cameron, the Walter and Eliza Hall Trust and the Water Conservation and Irrigation Commission
