Content Summary:
Mainly family correspondence including letters to Thomas and Joyce Creyke from their sons Peter and Tim and daughters-in-law Robin and Judy. Also includes some carbon copies of letters to family by Thomas and Joyce Creyke and letters to Thomas from his wife. The letters mainly date from the period when Creyke worked for the World Bank, based in Washington, Indonesia and Nairobi, 1962-1977. Many files of otherwise family correspondence contain small amounts of personal and semi-official correspondence.
Immediate source of acquisition:
The papers were donated to the Library by Creyke’s son, Peter Creyke, in 1990.
