In 1954-59 Creyke was Agricultural and Food Advisor to Australia at the UK High Commission in Canberra. His responsibilities were broadly to keep in touch with developments and prospects in all aspects of agricultural production in Australia and to promote two-way trade between the UK and Australia in agricultural commodities and supplies.
The series includes a large numbered sequence of files containing notes and reports relating to his Australian tours as well as reports of his visits, speeches and other papers.

- The papers were donated to the Library by Creyke’s son, Peter Creyke, in 1990.
