- Files, mainly put together by Cleland himself, of copies of official correspondence (marked AQ), covering his work at ANGAU, a military administrative unit which was established in Port Moresby to maintain the civil administration’s functions such as preserving and controlling native labour and keeping law and order. Added to these are some photographs taken by him (not good quality), some private correspondence and honours and awards received. The numbers with letter prefix in brackets were assigned by Cleland and these files also mostly have folio numbers assigned.
