- This series contains letters written by Charles Boyd to his parents, Charles and Florence Boyd, whilst he was based in London. The letters outline Boyd's life as a dancer, his struggle to find work, the start of his career with Ballet Rambert, and travels to Norway which coincided witht the beginning of World War II and Boyd's subsequent return to Australia. Also included are a letter from Eileen Dale to Boyd's mother, and a letter to Boyd from his father.
- Immediate source of acquisition:
- The Papers of Charles Boyd were donated to the Library by Charles Boyd on 25 March 2002. Further material donated by Boyd was added to the collection in 2022.
