Folder "War notes, 1939-40" - 104pp. foolscap typescript, containing Edwards' reaction (as an avowed pacifist) to the beginning of WWII, 3 ½ weeks before, and then an ongoing wide-ranging account and commentary. Dated sections follow, up to 25/11/40. All pages contain handwritten amendments, corrections and other markings. Also some references to material he used in the Melbourne Herald, of which he was editor., 1939-1940
