- The first instalment of papers was purchased from R.A. Simpson in 1977. Further instalments were added to MS 5575 in 1979, 1980, 1991, 1996 and 2000. The papers comprise draft of poems, notebooks, manuscripts of books, correspondence with writers and publishers, reviews, papers on seminars and other literary subjects, drawings and photographs. A further consignment was received in 2005.
