Content Summary:
Hudson, who had a long interest in promoting safety in the workplace, was President of the National Safety Council of Australia between 1968 and 1971. The original arrangement of the files in the series has been maintained. They include correspondence, minutes of meetings, notes and reports. The main correspondents are T.G. Crane and S.G. Mitchell. Copies of some of Hudson's letters are included.
Immediate source of acquisition:
The papers were donated to the National Library by Lady Hudson in December 1992. In 1998, following the death of her mother, Margaret Unger added further papers to the collection. Series 25 was added in May 1998.
