Content Summary:

In 1940-41 Forsyth was full-time Research Secretary at the Australian Institute for International Affairs (Victorian Branch) researching and writing on Far Eastern and Pacific Affairs and editing the Austral-Asiatic Bulletin. During this time he produced and published a number of papers for the Institute.

The series includes copies of Austral-Asiatic Bulletin and Digest, The Far East - a digest of periodicals, World Affairs - papers, Australian Institute of International Affairs Newsletter and Australian Home Front.

Immediate source of acquisition:
The papers were donated to the Library in several small instalments during the 1970s and 1980s and one large instalment after Forsyth's death in March 1993.
