The series comprises extensive notes, cuttings, reviews, pamphlets andcorrespondence about the research for and publication of Forsyth's three books. There are also copies of some of the articles that he wrote.
The correspondents include Sir Ernest Scott, Ida Leeson, Malcolm Titt, Peter Ryan and J.F. Foster.
- Immediate source of acquisition:
- The papers were donated to the Library in several small instalments during the 1970s and 1980s and one large instalment after Forsyth's death in March 1993.
