Included is correspondence, drafts of statements, addresses and homilies and tour arrangements. Secondly, papers relating to the 1989 Diocesan Synod, at which Molony was the appointed representative for the Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn. And thirdly, papers relating to Molony's involvement in the preparation of the 1994 Social Justice Sunday Statement on Unemployment on behalf of the Australian Catholic Bishops. The Statement was formulated following an approach made to Molony, in 1993, by Michael Costigan, then Executive Officer for the Australian Catholic Social Justice Council. Molony's draft statement was subsequently rejected by the Council. Included is correspondence, research material and drafts of the statement.
