Content Summary:
Zubrzycki has been an active anti-communist since the 1950's. This series contains papers generated by Zubrzycki through his anti-communist activities and includes typescripts of articles for News Weekly, 1957-62; correspondence with the Committee for Cultural Freedom, 1956-86; and papers relating to the Frank Knopflemacher case, 1965 and to an Andre Sakarhov petition, 1984.
Immediate source of acquisition:
The papers were either donated to the Library (under the Taxation Incentives for the Arts Scheme) by Zubrzycki or purchased from him in several instalments between 1993 and 1999. The initial consignment of records was received by the Library in January 1982 and has been added to several times since this date most recently in 1999.
