Comprises newspaper clippings, book reviews and photographs removed from books donated by Zubrzycki to the Australian Defence Force Academy (ADFA) Library in 1988. The reviews include some written by Zubrzycki himself. The clippings concern political events in the Ukraine, China, Afghanistan, and the Soviet Union. The photographs are copy prints of press images from the 1956 Hungarian Revolution, including a portrait of Imre Nagy.

Immediate source of acquisition:
The papers were either donated to the Library (under the Taxation Incentives for the Arts Scheme) by Zubrzycki or purchased from him in several instalments between 1993 and 1999. The initial consignment of records was received by the Library in January 1982 and has been added to several times since this date most recently in 1999.
