Content Summary:
The papers in this series relate to Wheeler's personal history and professional interests. Included are school reports from Scotch College (1924-29), a book of his university lecture notes and two letters Wheeler wrote to his parents (1952). Correspondents include Sir Douglas Copland, J.B. Chifley, Sir William Dunk (Wheeler's predecessor as Chair of the Public Service Board) and G.P.N. (Norman) Watt.
Immediate source of acquisition:
The papers were acquired by the Library in two instalments. The first was received from Sir Frederick Wheeler in 1971 and the second from his son Philip Wheeler in 1995.
