- This series comprises four files of newspaper cuttings covering highlights of Passmore's career including the Boyer Lectures and his involvement with the Bertrand Russell Project. A number of the articles cover his position on issues such as the protest movement in the 1960s and the anti-science movement.

- The philosopher John Passmore donated his papers to the National Library in two instalments in 1988 and March 1998 under the Taxation Incentive for the Arts Scheme, (renamed in 1997 as the Cultural Gifts Program.)
