Content Summary:
Litten had kept some of his correspondence, drafts of his writings and other papers in numbered files. They mostly related to his work with the children's homes in Australia and his continuing interest and association with the National Children's Home and Orphanage in England. The correspondents include F.J. Potter (Dr Barnado's Homes, London), T.O. Buck (Financial Secretary of N.C.H.O., London), Howard Watkin-Jones, Betty Coleman, Rev. F.H. Rayward, S.J. Elly and Rev. John W. Waterhouse (N.C.H.O., London).
Immediate source of acquisition:
The collection was donated to the National Library by Litten's granddaughters, Martha and Jane Kinsman, in 1995.
