Content Summary:
While working for the N.C.H.O. in London, Litten initiated the formation of the Sisters' Training School. Its aim was to provide the carers with proper child care training. Litten wrote many of the textbooks used in the school. The series comprises Litten's drafts and notes of the lectures and addresses.
Immediate source of acquisition:
The collection was donated to the National Library by Litten's granddaughters, Martha and Jane Kinsman, in 1995.
