- Temby dissolved his partnership with Northmore Hale Davey and Leake in December 1978 and in February 1979 he began private practice as a Barrister. He acted as counsel and provided legal opinions to a large numbers of solicitors. The series contains files of correspondence with solicitors' firms and typescript copies of Temby's advice. Papers relating to individual cases were kept in separate folders and the folders were filed under the solicitors' name. This arrangement and the file titles have been preserved by the Library.
